Draft for the alpha. A lawyer will review this policy before public launch.
Net Trust Score is run by AdHocnium LLC. This policy says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it, in plain words.
What we collect
- Your sign-in account. When you sign in with Google, our sign-in provider (Supabase) receives your email address and your account id from that service. When you sign in with your email, we send a one-time code to it through Resend. We use your email only to keep one vote per person. Your name and photo are not stored with your ratings.
- Your ratings and reasons. Each rating, whether you use the product, and any reason you write. Ratings are linked to your account so we can enforce one vote per person and remove abuse. They are never shown with your name.
- Network address. We keep a one-way, salted hash of your IP address for 30 days to limit abuse. We do not keep the address itself.
- Site analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies and receives your browser's address, which Google shortens before storing. Advertising features are switched off, and it never runs on the sign-in, My ratings or admin pages. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland get no analytics cookies. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Company suggestions. If you suggest a company, we keep your email only to tell you whether we added it, send that one email through Resend, and delete your address within 90 days of the decision.
- Usage events. Counts of steps such as starting a rating or signing in, with a random browser id. They never include your email or the text you write.
What we share
- Public pages show only totals and reasons without names.
- Comment checks. The text of a reason and the company's name are sent to Anthropic's API to check them against the comment policy. Nothing that identifies you is sent.
- Newsletter. Only if you tick the box, your email goes to our newsletter service (Ghost) so we can send the weekly Net Trust Score newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any issue or from My ratings.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share ratings or reasons with the companies we rate in any form that identifies you.
Your choices
- See your ratings, reasons and their status on My ratings.
- Delete your account there. Deletion removes your ratings and reasons from live scores at once. Past daily totals remain as anonymous counts.
- Questions or requests about your data: use the contact form and choose "Privacy or my data".
Who can use the site
